However, Huawei released a trio of P20 devices a few days back; Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P20 Lite. If you are the proud owner of a Huawei P20, and want to unlock your smartphone bootloader, you have come to the right place. In this post we are going to tell you how to achieve Huawei P20 root. Follow along and by the end of this post you will have a bootloader unlocked Huawei P20.
How To Unlock Bootloader On Huawei P20, P20 Lite Or P20 Pro:

★ Ensure total backup of your Data before proceeding with the steps below.
★ Endure that you have at least 70-80 percent battery on your Huawei P20, P20 Lite or P20 Pro.
★ Make sure you have enabled your USB Debug hand OEM Unlock. To do this, Navigate to your Settings => About Phone => Click on Build Number Seven Times to become a developer => Head-back to your Settings and tap on Developers Option => Toggle on USB Debugging and OEM Unlock.
★ Ensure that your ADB and Fastboot are setup and working fine on your computer (Windows, Mac or Linux).

How To Unlock Bootloader On Huawei P20, P20 Lite Or P20 Pro:
Get Bootloader Unlock Code From Huawei:Click here to sign in or sign up to your Huawei account if you don't own an amount yet.
Once logged in click on Unlock, and Accept the terms and conditions.
Once the next page below information:-
Select since EMUI 5.0
On your phone, head-over to your Settings => System => About Phone and enter the serial number in the field.
On your phone, go to the dialer and enter code *#06# and IMEI should pop up. Enter the IMEI in the IMEI number field.
On your phone, go to dialer and enter code *#*#1357946#*#* and product id will show up. Enter product id in product id field.
Enter the verification code from image in the corresponding field and click on Commit. You will get a message saying your unlocking password is 123456789.
Note: We used the code "123456789" as an example, each device has it’s own unique code. You need to note down this code and also, remember the code in case sensitive.
Boot Huawei P20, P20 Lite Or P20 Pro Into Fastboot Mode:
- Connect Huawei P20, P20 Lite and P20 Pro to computer using usb cable.
- Open command prompt (for Windows) or Terminal (for Mac and Linux).
- Navigate to platform-tools folder and issue below command.
Windows:
adb reboot bootloaderMac and Linux:
./adb reboot bootloaderUnlock Huawei P20, P20 Lite Or P20 Pro Bootloader:
- Once in fastboot mode connect Huawei mate 10 pro to computer using USB cable.
- Open command prompt (for Windows) or Terminal (for Mac and Linux).
- Navigate to platform-tools folder.
However, enter below command to check if device was connected successfully.
Windows:
fastboot -i 0x1532 devicesMac and Linux:
./fastboot -i 0x1532 devicesYou will see your device’s serial number show up if device was connected successfully. If not then something is wrong with drivers.
Next, you have to enter below command to unlock the bootloader.
Note: Remove the UNLOCKPASSWORD in the box below and put your device unlock password. Example: 123456789
Windows:
fastboot oem unlock unlockpasswordMac and Linux:
./fastboot oem unlock unlockpasswordNow, You will see a warning message about Unlock Bootloader on Huawei P20, 20 Lite and 20 pro, use Volume buttons to navigate to Yes and Power button to select Yes.
Finally, your device will now reboot, wipe all data and then boot into Android. All done and you've successfully unlock bootloader on your Huawei P20, 20 Lite or 20 Pro.
